Church Communications Training

Church Communications and Publicity

We have seen many different methods of publicity used by Christian Churches in the UK and have a good understanding of what the church needs and the challenges they face. Having managed communications long-term for a church in the centre of a community on the south coast, and with limited resources, we fully appreciate the limitations and struggles faced by so many small to medium congregations.

With a dual purpose of looking after and developing its members along with those outside of the church in the community, a different strategy becomes necessary for a church, and it’s one we now present in order to help those seeking to develop this side of their ministry.

Church Communications Seminars

With a number of invitations received to run Church Communication Seminars, we see there is a real need within small to medium sized churches to better understand the methods and platforms used in this changing digital age that we live in.

As churches work with all generations in the community from toddlers to pensioners, it is vital that they have an understanding of how to communicate effectively both offline and online, with handouts, posters, websites, social media etc.

Our seminars start at the beginning – why communicate and why it’s important for churches to do it well. The content then includes many areas that help bring strategies, departments and teams together.  The aim of the seminar is to bring an understanding to key workers about the importance of communicating well, and to demonstrate how important it is to use available tools and to connect them within the church.

We understand that the local church has many different activities and this is one area that is seemingly overlooked. Put simply, information about your vision, message, program and your event, must be passed on to those you want to hear and to attend. If you put on an event and don’t use the correct methods to tell them it’s on, you shouldn’t be surprised if there is a poor response.
